Did you know....?
I do think its weird the R/T doesn't have cooled seats. Still rather have the R/T than the Citadel any day tho!
I'm partial to the look of the R/T. Clean, subdued, sporty. Not a fan at all of all the chrome and general looks of the Citadel or any other trim for that matter. Just my preference....
^ The R/T sits lower (better handling and looks), painted grille, door handles, rear dodge logo, mirrors, had a more aggressive looking flared front valence, black backed headlights and just looks so much better. And the R/T only comes with the 5.7 Hemi no junk V6 putt putt motor. LOL.
And yeah id like to have the cooled seat here in FL when its 110 degrees in the summer lol

I have a fully loaded Crew Lux. I believe the only thing my car is missing is the cooled seats and heated steering wheel.
I was considering a crew lux and an r/t.
From what I remember, the Citadel (at least the '11s) vs only a Crew-LUX has
1) Sunroof
2) Garmin
3) better quality napa leather. Nicer seats and colored stitching. White vs the red on the r/t.
4) leather on doors and center console.
5) BLIS, adaptive cruise, collision warning, cross path detection. BLIS and CrossPath have already come in handy. I initially dismissed these features but now love them!
6) cooled seats and heated steering wheel
7) Xenon headlights
8) More flexible power passenger seat
9) 1yr more of maintenance
10) And aaaaaargggggh, more chrome.
Some of the above options can be added to a crew but were not in the lux package. When I priced a crew lux with sunroof and garmin and other stuff, then priced an R/T, as much as I hate chrome, I decided the Citadel was worth it. I can eventually lower the Citadel. As much as I liked the full body paint of the R/T, I didn't like the painted fenders. That part I would have preferred the black plastic like our black citadel has. I'm just tired of dings from other cars. So much that I've ordered the side body moldings. And while I don't like chrome at all, the chrome front grille is the one and only part I did actually like. Don't know why, but when I see pics of black durangos with the chrome front, I do like that. The door handles, rims, tailgate, that I do wish wasn't there. In time, hopefully I can address those.

Don't even get me started on dings!!! AAAHH....I'm starting another thread now....
I love the look of the painted fenders. Sad you have to go with plastic because of idiots who let their doors hit others cars but I totally understand where you're coming from.

I agree on the chrome but couldn't get a new car without all the options available. Plus the price was right! Everything but the wheels have grown on me. It's not that I dislike a little chrome as long as it's it good taste, but the wheels...yuck. IMO, of course.
