Default Did you know....?

Maybe this will turn into a larger thread of cool little features.

Being a guy, I have no use for instruction manuals. And the Citadel is my wife's, so I don't drive it all the time. And then we've only had it a couple of weeks.

So I was very surprised to find out it has automatic high beams. Really?! I had no idea there was such a thing! This is a really cool little feature.

Are there any other neat little features we might not know of? Or am I the most ignorant here?

Not at all, welcome to the forum. How about the hidden compartment under the drivers side seat. Or maybe when the wipers are on low or high that it moves the brake pads ever so slightly against the rotors to dry them off for quicker stopping.

Good thread, lets keep it going!

Yeah that compartment under the seat is pretty damn sweet. Large enough to put a good amount of stuff under there too. But it is pretty difficult to open so you can't keep a fire arm in there if you would need it at the ready. It would be better if there was a handle of some sorts on the top lid

You have to put your finger in the crack between the lid and the floor boards sand pull pretty damn hard, there are some tabs that hold it down and it only comes up in the front. The whole lid doesn't come off.

I pulled mine up from the back of the seat. There is a tab to lift it from but it's held in with four clips. It does come off or you can leave it loose for quicker access. I wonder what other little gem on in the D.

Maybe that's why it was difficult to life up from the front. My seat is to far back to lift it from the back though. It's a fairly large size that which is cool.

I like the fact that the brakes hold for a few seconds on a hill when you take your foot off the brake on your way to the gas.

...now I gotta find that storage compartment...... :-)

Correction: that's no storage compartment -- it's an access panel, and considering there are wires and connectors down there, I wouldn't put anything else in the space that's left over.

There aren't any wires under mine....

I know that under the passenger seat is where the battery is located

Do you have a Citadel? I read on here somewhere, the ventilated seats equipment might be located in that compartment.
