Default Looking for pic of Blue R/T

I have been searching all over but I can't seem to find a actual picture of a Blue R/T? None of the dealers around here have one, and no actual pics on Autotrader, all the generic pics. Is the blue really that rare of a color? I've seen it on the other models, but really want a picture on the R/T with the color matched grill and stuff.

Check out deim's ride from the 3rd Gen Roll call thread. The one above the pic of the STI. It almost looks black so you may have missed it

Now that you mention it, I think his is the only Blue R/T on the site and I've never seen one on the roads.... Nice color!

Yeah, we really like blue cars but that is almost a dark purple? I didn't realize it was so dark. Is there a different blue between 2011 and 2012?

If you do the "build your own" on www.dodge.com you can see all the colors.

Ive seen the blue in person from one of my customers and at first glance i though that it was black.

Its blue alright, just standard dark blue. Definitely not an electric blue like the new mustangs or other light blues.....

Thanks, I've done the Biuld Your Own on there, but colors in real life always appear a little different then the computer generated versions.

We are hoping that they come out with the 8-speed next year so we can replace our '04 Tahoe.

Why do you want an 8 speed?

Well from everything I've read the 6-speeds aren't any different from the 5-speeds which aren't great. The 8-speed is said to add mpg and lots of performance. I can't leave a vehicle stock so it will be seeing more power and any added performance without sacrificing mpg from the factory is a bonus

The more gears you have the shorter they are and I hate short gears. I've had my R/T for a little over 2 weeks now and I love the way the trans feels.

Yes, but short gears improve performance, while improving mpg. Short gears on a auto aren't that big a deal, if it was a manual a 8-speed might get tiring!
