I want to put a new exhaust on my RT. I have Flowmasters on all my other vehicles that I love but I want a little different sound on this one. Does anyone have any feedback on any other brands?

 

Try Mufflex.Com. They are a shop in the Pa area and have a VID of a simple mod that did to a 2011 Citadel. Seems fairly inexpensive and is a simple do it yourself bolt on kit. I am trying to detemine which way I want to go also and am leaning toward there simple system. I do not want over powering REDNECK TRUCK loud, just a little louder than stock.

 

Borla is the only full cat-back available at the time. Magnaflow's site says theirs is pending... I'm doing Borla, so I will report.

Ha ha, I dont want redneck loud either-my truck is like that. This is the wifes truck but I want it just a little louder and Im doing the muffler only. Im thinking Borla or Corsa so far. Magnaflow seems a little louder than I need for this one.

This is my wifes truck as well so she wanted the V6 for gas mileage savings. I still am looking to man it up a lil but im afraid exhaust would sound like **** on a V6, any experience with this?

 

You just gonna have to wait a little i think on that, not really any V6's out there doing exhaust just yet. But i don't think that it would sound that great, thats my opinion though...

 

yea when i was a teenager i put exhaust on my v6 camaro and it just sounded like a pack of angry bee's or something, just curious cuz this thing has some more horses or if they specially design them now for the v6's

 

Yeah me too, I put an exhaust on my straight six Nova--NO Good! Stay quiet on a v6 there is no cool sound for a 6 cylinder.
