Default RT Tire only change

I have been having some major shaking problems with my 11 RT that some of you might have read about in another thread. Long long story short the dealer wants to change out my Kuhmo tires for a third time. However this time going to the Goodyear forterras that come on the Citadel. I told him I want OEM handling tires for an RT not touring tires like the Forterras. I found the new RT's are coming with Continentals.
Do any RT owners care to share the tires sizes and brand on thier RT's? Thanks.

The Continental CrossContact UHP is the standard tire that comes on the R/T now and is rated much higher than the Kumho tire, has a heavier load rating, but cost nearly twice as much. My grandfather always said you pay for what you get and its no different when it comes to tires either.

I wonder what prompted Dodge to make the change just after the production year started? Can't see them wanting to incur the cost of a much more expensive set of tires unless there is a recognized issue with the Kumhos

I was looking at a 2012 today and it had the Kumhos

Arent the Continentals part of the 3 season tire option which has an additional cost?

dont change your tires waste of money
mine had this problem too
take it in for the recall on the steering colum. Tell your dealer to take a closer look in his computer and he will see the recall.
problem solved

Khumos that came on the D Heat felt super smooth with no issues. The Continentals on my 11' RT feel sportier along with the RT suspension. Both were fine for me....

Im going to go back to the same dealer one more time. The service manager has been pretty helpful thru this so Id like to give them the chance to make it right plus I dont feel like explaining the whole thing all over again. Ill see what it feels like in a week or two.
