Baseline dyno for Hemi?
Wondering what the 5.7 puts down to the wheels in stock form. Doubt if many 3G Durangos have been to the dyno, but wondering what 5.7's in Rams and Jeeps and Chargers put down with the same 360 flywheel as the starting point. Working on an SRT version of this thing. Hennessey's 2011 Ram makes 505 flywheel with their blower setup. Unfortunately, the rolling codes in the ECU have yet to be cracked to allow for tuning and/or forced induction at this time. Word is, it is a matter of time before they are broken and tuning will be available.
Yeah, blowers are not inexpensive. But a properly tuned unit, with over 500 hp, and stock-like reliability, and in many cases, a warranty, are not cheap. Not a lot of choices out there for 7 passenger SUV's with 500 hp. I looked at the Cherokee SRT 6.4 and they are $63,000 plus thousands in dealer markups, to get to 470 hp and they still can't handle carpool. Let me know if there is a more reasonable way to add 145 hp to the 5.7 and I'm all over it.
Thats around 46 dollars per 1 extra horse power lol then you have to spend another $1,500-2,000 + in getting it installed and tuned...

As I said, it is not inexpensive. 500+ hp is hard to come by in a family SUV. But us power hungry folks like to get after it. Same reason why someone chooses an SRT version over an RT in the rest if the Dodge lineup. You should see what I have done to my Solstice Coupe...
I would love to do it, i just either need to win the lotto or sell my 1969 Chevy nova to do so. And i don't think ill be selling the Nova since thats what i want to give to my son in 15 years lol
