JC,

If you are having problems that the dealer cannot fix I would suggest calling Chrysler direct and letting them get one of their techs involved. Suggesting another dealer is good advice because if the dealer could not fix the issue the first time I am not sure how they are going to suddenly be able to fix it the next time, but many customers do not have a choice to go to another dealer as there may not be one in their area. Either way, if anyone goes to a dealer and their issue is not resolved they should contact Chrysler and let a Customer Assistance Center agent get involved. The numbers are below.

2011 RT with steering wheel shake. Been in three times, I think we are on our third set of tires, had the steering column TSB performed and still has shake. Just picked it up Friday again with small shake and it seems to be getting worse again. I love the truck otherwise but this shake is a nightmare.

I have a 2012 R/T. I purchased it on November 7, 2011. I've had no shakes or problems of any kind. I have not looked to find out the build date but I assume it was well after the June 25th date.

Have any of the shaking problems occurred on a 2012 R/T model or have all of the problems been on 2011 models?

If you have ever driven a lifted truck with larger off road tires on it thats what it is like. Side to side shaking like your wheels are out of balance, but the dealer cant figure out what is causing the issue and its not the tires.

I had an 09 ram with a 8inch lift and 37x13.5 tires (nitto open countries) and didn't have any shake at all even up to 121 miles an hour.

Also had a 08 Jeep Wangler 4 door with a 6 inch lift 35x12.5 tires (MT Baja) and not sake on that either...

Was built on Nov 7, 2011 and it did not work on delivery.....so you have to assume it left the factory that way. Have an appointment on the 16th to get it fixed.....finally.....I hope.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

After much thought it looks like we will be moving forward with our R/T purchase. If all goes well, we will be picking it up Friday.
