Default Durango R/T owners check in here please!

I was able to test drive a 2012 Durango R/T AWD today and was very impressed. The sales guy was cool and we took it for a nice 12 mile drive, both residential roads and highway. I thought it felt smooth and solid, with decent acceleration from a stop but plentiful power on the highway.

I recently read a couple threads in this forum about issues with steering wheel shaking/vibration at highway speeds and I will admit it has made me hesitant to move forward. I didnt feel it at all on the vehicle I drove.

Can we have a roll call of R/T AWD owners and state what year and whether you have had any issues with your truck since purchase? Just want to get an idea of how many of you have had problems, whether with the steering shake or anything else.

Thanks fellas!

I have a 2012 and haven't had any issues with steering wheel shake. The only thing that i have is a slight pull to the right when i hit the brakes but thats an easy fix...

Get one you'll love it!

I have a 2012 as well. The only issue that I have had with mine is the sun roof doesn't work......came from the factory with a bad motor. How does that happen? You won't regret the purchase. Great vehicle.

Yea that is surprising, you would think that would have been caught at the factory. Did it just not work at all? I will need to be sure to check that out when looking for mine. Do you know what your build date is?

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread as I am a prospective owner myself.

I have a 2011 R/T and had the SW shake
all Durangos made before June 25th or something like that had this issue
a simple recall fix with a new part took care of the issue
