Well, i wanted my R/T to sound like a real V8. Removed mufflers and added 5" tips. I love the sound and look of it. Best $140 mod!

Yeah, nice!!! I really do wish the hemi sounded a little "more powerful", that it had a slightly lower tone?

How's it sound from INSIDE driving around the city? At highways speeds?

 

At FOT it can be quite loud. I will more than likely lay some sound damping down in back but that will be done when fiberglass is laid. But cruising at 60-70 MPH you cant even tell inside. I love the sound of it.

 

So I take it that there isn't a drone problem associated it removing the mufflers then. That would be my only concern by doing this, but it sounds great. I know a few local muffler shops that do great work but figured I would ask as your local.

 

Well, I plan to bring it to Midnight Mayham at LVMS Jan 27th. Just want to see if the 6sp helps it in the 1/4 mile. Also, I should have K&N CAI installed by then.

For the CAI were you able to get the Tube in White?

 

Its going to be black. But I plan on painting it when I do the other covers under the hood.
