yup im aware, but i dont race road bikes, only mtn so id rather have the spd cleats on all my shoes and w/e pedal i like on all the bikes (in this case i like the crank brothers products)

it doesnt help that im a poor college student

Well the Shimano pedals i bought are $109.99 MSRP and bought them for $58.99 on www.nashbar.com they have some great deals.

yea i usually buy my stuff from a combination of nashbar, jenson usa, pricepoint, or amazon depending on who has the best deal at the time. and im too lazy to look for the right side of the pedal while im riding, id rather just put my foot down and feel it click in nice and quick, that and the crank brothers pedals stay nice and clean in the mud
