Default Push button Part number...

New here and just bought a 2011 Crew with the HEMI...

I test drove a 2012 and noticed it had push button start...but
they had a great deal on an 2011 new with 125 miles. so I got
that instead with the same features.

Anywho...I noticed in the 2011 I had to put the key in
and turn it to start. I did notice everytime I get
in it says step on brake and push button to start. But
I have no button...so earlier today I got in and stuck
my finger in the key hole and it started and did the same to turn
it off...

I found out that these push start buttons come off..so I was wondering
if there is a part number for the durango. So I can get one.... all I can find
is the one for the challenger unless they are all the same.
I'm guessing they are but want to make sure.

The part number I have is 1FU931X9AC

If anyone knows please reply.

Thanks,
Joe

make the dealer take care of it. The remote start button is put in when they PDI the truck. My RT didn't have it in when I got it. I kept telling my salesman something was wrong because there was no push start in the truck. He said it must not come with it. I told him all R/T's come with it and showed it to him on the window sticker. He went and got his GM who went out to the truck found the button somewhere and put it in in three minutes.

IDK if I will be able to get anything from this dealer. When I bought
they didn't even fill the gas tank. Only half tank.

thanks

YES, this is what you paid for. The button is likely in a PDI kit that was in the vehicle when they got it off the truck, along with owner's DVD and the radio manual, etc.

Ok, so I went to the dealer and they got me the button..I showed him
how I started it with my finger in and he said to me whats your question.

I said well I would like button. So then he said what do you want. I said
well I want what I paid for so I would like a button. he then said whats your
question. I said can I have a button please. he said we my have to order it...I said fine. He took some info went in and came out about 10 mins later had me sign something and gave me the button.

So thanks for the help here if not I would probably have bought when there was no need.
