Has anyone taken the door panels off to replace the speakers? I found a procedure online from Dodge and it says to discard the plastic clips after removing the panel. Do they really get destroyed during removal or is this procedure just playing it safe and replacing the clips to prevent rattling?

 

can you post the link on the door panel removal? I am wanting to replace the speakers also, but am unsure of the procedure.

for the guys who have switched out the oem speakers, are you still running on the factory amp, or did you install an amp? Would it be worth upgrading the speakers using the factory wiring/amp?
