Default Car seat protectors....

For those of you that have car seats in the 2nd row, what protector are you using under the car seats?

I've used the common one but the problem is that it leaves a indents in the leather where the car seat sits.

Our last car was left with two visible marks for each car seat just from the weight and compression into the seat.

Any help or suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

John

I use a heavy bath towel folded in two, works well.

Short of using something rigid (like a board for instance) that distributes the weight and pressure, the weight of the carseat/kid/belt tension is going to come through and make an imprint on the seat. I think this is just a necessary evil of having carseats.

That's perfect, thanks for the help! I sent my wife to buy them as soon as I saw this. I'm sure she already picked them up by now...

These are nice, but they will not prevent imprints in your seats. Once you lock that carseat down tight you are still going to leave marks. And that's not the worst of it. Wait until your kid throws up all over your seats, or mashes his banana into them. These covers help a little bit. Impressions in the seat will be the least of your worries. :-))
