HID Fog Bulb (H16) MOD

I've been on another forum since I bought the D about 8 months ago, but it isnt active at all. With that said, here's my first post here!
Have you all considered LED/Plasma bulbs? I'd prefer to go this route because; 1) it's cheaper and 2) easier install.

led lights will only throw about half of the light of your stock bulb, however they will match hid light in looks. HID will throw 300% more light output and will have the color you wish, but may melt the foglight housing on our new D's The brightest leds you can get for the fogs right now are only 600lumens which is not very good for lighting the way but they wil look awesome so if you want looks go led if you want output go hid.
currently i have HID kit 4500k in my headlights and 7.5w 600 lumen cree LED H16's in my fogs...looks great but fogs dont light up anything really other than the housing to match the hids...they look bright to the eyes but do not flood the road with light like HID
