The only reason i would get the Tahoe over the D is if i had another child, I like that the Tahoe is wider and having to put a large dog crate in the back with a stroller as well you don't have much more room in the D but the Tahoe would accommodate it a little better....

 

Correct. But if you're like most people and really need a car every day, and a truck only occasionally, then the Durango would be a better choice.

And if you need a truck frequently, but have to also use it as a car, then the Tahoe would be better.

Most SUV's are driven 90% of the time with 3 people or less on board, and no real cargo to speak of.

 

I almost got another tahoe that was two wheel drive, but we travel a bit as well and the range of the durango is great.
