OK Guys just need a little info !
CMil,
When you installed your Volant CAI, did you experience any of these issues? Mine is set to arrive on Monday and now I'm feeling a bit of reluctance.

No sir, straight fwd install, double checked my connections and I did NOT disconnect my battery.
Nope, didn't want to do anything.
Felt like it was stock on the eco mode.
On my way to the dealer to pickup the D, apparently they only updated the pcm..
more later.

any pics of it mike, i don't recall a tag
Agreed, take that off, it can only restrict airflow. Additionally, I just finished installing mine and have some tips.
1. Insert the oxygen sensor before mounting the air tube. This will allow you to push back on the rubber grommet from the inside will pushing the sensor through. Otherwise, you will just keep popping the grommet into the tube.
2. Install/tighten the air filter to the inside of the air box BEFORE putting it into place...stupid, I know, but I overlooked this (haha).
3. Leave the size 64 ring on the air tube side for the connection to the airbox loose so that you can get the rubber hose over the tube as far as it will go, or else the tube won't line up well with the intake on the engine block.
4. This is my one gripe. The L Bracket to mount the airbox to the fluid reservoir (can't recall which fluid this was) is poorly designed. I still couldn't get mine to mount without creating an issue with the hood closing down on the airbox opening at the front of the vehicle. I am looking for a shorter bracket but haven't really gone anywhere to locate one other than Lowes (to no avail). If you get yours to work, excellent, but mine simply will NOT line up with seriously relying on the flexibility of the airbox plastic (something I am unwilling to do).
Other than that, enjoy. The first time you put the pedal down with this thing installed you will not only feel a substantial increase in acceleration but the sound is just MEAN! I love it!
