After you pop them on the head, make them push the head rest back up. Once it is re-loaded they know it’s behave time or the slapper is coming back down.
Only problem is my kids are 8 & 6 and howled the first time I did it.
My 8 year old thinks its hysterical now.. he had a "WTF?!?!? moment" the first time I did it, but now he loves when friend sits in the back with him - at the quietest moment he says "Dad, hit the button!" and he moves his head forward.
