Thumbs up Putco H16 fog light bulbs installed today..

What's up all. So I put in the H16 Putco fog light bulbs in a 7k blue. Install was quite easy and tabs did not have to be removed. Gave them a good push in with my thumb and the clips secured to housing perfect. Popped the cable back on and good to go. Only thing I removed were the 2 bolts holding wheel well trim in place, peeled it back a bit layed on the ground and full access to fogs. Took about 20mins for the whole job. Just something easy instead of getting to in depth into HID conversion.

Cool

I will def keep an eye on them. I have read though that people have attempted 55w bulbs.. These are only 35s ..I know OEMs are 24w but you guys think 35s will burn that hot?? I will try and get some nite pics up.. I see more white than any blue and the are labelled as a blue lighting..

So far they have worked out well. I know I read on here H16 bulbs needed a quick mod by shaving tabs. I ll be honest I just gave them a little more of a push with my thumb and the seated perfectly no mod. Threw on some Lamin X film over lenses and called it a day. I would just monitor how hot those Nokyas get, had the arctic white on my Kia optima SX and they melted the housing. Good Luck.

What's Lamin X film? Lol...I had HID in my Cadillac with those had projectors which made them look amazing but I don't like HID in these type of headlights looks to overwhelming so I'm going to put 5K in the fogs and low beams and leave it alone..so far the low beams look great I put the sylvania ZxE in there much better then the yellow stock look I hate!
