Default My Second Mod...Hash Fender Stripes!

Guys -

So, as I mentioned on my "Day 1" post, my first mod was an AEM air filter and now my second mod is HEMI "hash" fender stripes.

I found a vendor on eBay (dc*graphix) that was great to deal with and has quite a few styles available. I opted for the word HEMI above the two stripes in matte black. They shipped me both sides and a HEMI for the back, but I'm only going to install the driver's side.

In terms of installation, it took about 20 minutes and they provided complete instructions. I chose the "wet" method versus the "dry" method since I am a complete newbie to applying vinyl graphics.

It was a bit of a nail biter when the edge that wrapped around the fender lip wouldn't stick, but the soapy water just needed to dry. Seems well adhered at this point.

Anyway...let me know what you guys think! Sorry the photo quality isn't great...my Android phone camera sux.

Thanks!
Frank

I don't see a pic. I like the fender stripes but think they should only be on the horizontal surface and not the top of the fender or hood.

Try now...I accidentally had my album tagged as private.

I agree - I've mounted them horizontal only

I think it looks great! I have been thinking of doing the same. I have a black R/T and have been thinking silver stripes! Now I have a little to think about.

Thanks guys! Here's where I got them...

Solphurious...the eBay listing shows silver stripes. They look sweet, but I would go for RED on a black truck. That's just me.

I just deleted the R/T underneath the stripe and moved it forward on the fender so that the middle of the two stripes hits the apex of the wheelwell arch.

Default color?

I am so conflicted!! yes I have considered red too! and matte black for the subtle look. I guess I'll just order all three and try them out!
