Default Legmaker carbon fiber intake and BT catch can installed

Attachment 16818

Easy install. Love the real carbon fiber. Don't think I could fit a bigger filter

Do they have dyno results? Just wondering how well it works with no enclosure to make it a CAI - will draw some warm air, but then again should be less restricted.

Cold air is always better but honestly if you entire intake system is under the hood you are getting a ton of radiant heat anyways.

I had a fendermount before and they were a little better performance wise. The box under the hood isn't keeping heat out and I don't see how any significant outside air is coming into box through non-existant opening at front of hood (right above radiator)

I tested a bunch of fendermounts a couple years ago with 30 plus dyno runs and found this brand performed well.

They have nice transitions and very large filters plus carbon fiber doesn't retain heat like metal does

So do you see anyway that the catch can can be mounted without removing the engine cover?
