You guys are killin' me!!
So I have been out of the serious "mod itch" for over 15 years with much of the aftermarket fun (cams, intakes, exhaust, gears, suspension, wheels/tires etc) with my Mustang. I was forbidden from further family car mods (from the Mrs.) after the debacle installing a drop kit on my 2000 Blazer 2WD. So I bought a mundane '06 Trailblazer, but with a V-8 because that was the next best thing to the SS model. I thought to myself, "I already have too many toys, let's be practical."
Then this past February at the auto show ride and drive, I drove an SRT8 392 Challenger for fun and I first drove the Durango R/T. Well, as much as I wanted the Challenger, it's not a pratical tow vehicle. So the D-R/T satisfied the mid-life crisis for the most part. I now have a vehicle that is fun to drive, looks great, and performs well. Pretty well satisfied. Then I joined this Dodge forum....
So here I read and see pics about high flow CAI, throttle bodies, ram air hoods, Brembo brakes, caliper covers, Borla exhaust, aftermarket wheels / tires, sequential tail lights, link ends etc etc. You all know who you are who post this stuff.
The "mod itch" is now back, thanks to all of you. I may have to cease participating in this forum. I have a mortgage to pay, save for college, youth hockey expenses and currently not in a position for aftermarket parts expenses. Plus, the "mod itch" could be detrimental to my marriage.
This may be my last post. You guys are killin' me!!

When you are a mechanic, don't you buy tools for your trade? Well every dodge member needs to mod their rides. It doesn't matter what forum you join, you always be temped to up grade or mod your ride. So you may as well stay here. My wife tells me the same thing as the other members. But since she wanted to get involved with what i was working, it makes doing the mods a lot easier.
