My wife is the same way, at 5' she says she would never use it, but it was the first thing I asked the salesman about when we purchased it, because I use it all the time on my Suburban and it is a few inches taller than the Durango, but Im 6'2". I think lift glass and adjustable pedals were big misses by dodge on this one.

believe it or not its nice to have (even if your short). i used to have an explorer and it had the feature. you can haul longer items and have them stick out the back. and just leave the window open
i had to carry 16' trim boards for my basement and had to have it go out the front pass window about 4' because the window doesnt open.

DJ, glad you got a laugh out of that!
Trace3rd, you missing adjustable peddles is a feature lacking on only your Durango. Mine has the feature. In fact, I always know when I bumped the 2nd memory setting because my husband has them go way back and I suddenly can't reach the peddles.
Baum, that's why we own a Dodge Ram TRUCK! There isn't a chance on this drought infested earth that I will allow anything construction like, mulch like, or even remotely dirty to be hauled around in my purdy new Durango!
