Interior Chrome Trim
My last car had a similar low raking windshield that made reflection off the dash onto the windshield as well as reflections off the chrome. I've been wearing polarized sun glasses ever since - that kills almost all reflections and gives a remarkably clear view for day time even when out of the vehicle.
it may be possible to scuff it with a brillow pad to give it a brushed stainless look instead of the bright chrome...dont go too deep though or you will hit the white plastic underneath the plastic chrome paint.
I know this is kinda a dead thread but the glare from the chrome trim in my sideview mirors in the day and on the windshield at night is pissing me off. Anyone come up with any solutions? I hate to keep asking questions before I actually contribute to this forum but this is one of my only real pet peeves so far. Necessity is the mother of invention and i've been thinking of a fix for about a week now. Still stumped
My solution is to wear polarized sun glasses. Cuts down on the reflections 100% and while there is still glare off the chrome it's reduced as well. If you have enough head room you can try raising your seat some too.
I do wear polarized most of the time. Problem isn't the sun glare off the trim and into my eyes. The problem is the trim from the air vent that is farthest left on drivers side makes a reflection on the drivers side window right where the side view mirror is. When I look at drivers sideview mirror i see the trim reflection and it is distracting to my crazy obsessive compulsive brain. Also at nighti see the reflection of the gauges and trim in the front windshield. I'm going to paint all the chrome trim on the front dash. Probably black to make it simple.

There is another thread with info on 'plasti dip' that might be a good way to retain the high quality look and maybe give you a custom look at the same time.
I moved to the Dodge D from Lexus. The Dodge fails in comparison when it comes to glare and reflections! (a good thing) so perhaps I'm desensitized to some of the glare, haha...

I will certainly post photos if I end up doing it. The good thing about plastidip is you can peel it off if you don't like it or mess up the first or second time around.
