Interior Chrome Trim
So.... the other day, I'm cruising down the highway and I'm being blinded by the light. The light reflecting off the chrome trim pieces inside my Durango. It was extremely distracting. I've done some looking and I'm coming up empty, but is anyone aware of an interior trim replacement package that may be available? I would be willing to replace all those trim pieces with just about any other color, but I want the chrome to go away from the inside of my Durango!
Plasti-dip: $6/ can in flat black; semi-permanent, but easily removable.
Had to do it in my Charger and am considering doing the Durango now too.

Cupholders:

Notice how the camera flash doesn't show on the plastidipped trim.

Have you considered going to a place that does vinyl wrapping? I know you can get tons of choices when it comes to the look that you want and many of the companies that do advertising with the vinyl wrap are willing to do interior trim pieces if you remove the pieces yourself. I was considering the carbon fiber wrap for my 328i before I traded it in for my Z4.
I use this company to get carbon fiber done on my car. You will have to send him your stock pieces, but he can do a fantastic job.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! Glad I'm not the only one not enjoying the chrome trim pieces!

The chrome around the center console by the shifter really bothered me. I pulled it off, scuffed it with very fine sand paper, and painted it flat black. It came out great. I would like to do the vents too, but have not figured out how to remove the chrome ring around them yet.
My last car had a similar low raking windshield that made reflection off the dash onto the windshield as well as reflections off the chrome. I've been wearing polarized sun glasses ever since - that kills almost all reflections and gives a remarkably clear view for day time even when out of the vehicle.
