Default Tint, Flaps, and Shifting + 2 questions

just had 15% tint installed. It makes a huge difference in the South Florida sun...also, it look pretty sweet with tint on the front and rear. Got the tint at the Swap Shop in Sunrise, FL- cost $80.(note: at night the Swap Shop is a 16 screen drive in theater). Probably could have got it a bit cheaper (there are about 12 tint installers).

Recently put on Mopar mud flaps. Keeps a lot of road debris off the car. If you take pride in keeping your D clean, consider the upgrade- an easy job once you figure out the first flap.

Just started to use my R/T shifter (bottom of shifter -D+) from the line. It's a blast. I don't know why it took 4 months to enjoy this feature.

Q1- I am considering a cold air intake...Volant or Mopar? I like the look of the Volanr, but the Mopar version looks like it takes a few pounds off the car.

Q2- Has anyone researched LED Tail Light replacements? Do they exist? I think tinted (Smoked color) led's will step the rear up a lot.

Happy New Year. Enjoy your D!

Nice ride rusty, I have yet to see any led replacement set ups and I have the volant and I'm extremely happy with it... Good luck!

I have the Volant. I really like it, but to get access to the filter is a bit arduous. There are several different ones out there. Another user, Sinisterrt has tried several and posted pics and opinions. I think the last one he used was an A/R unit. I liked it the best due to the largest piping and exposed, easy to access filter. Sticking with the Volant though, it does have a nice growl. No idea of any performance gains.

I just installed the Mopar CAI and I really like the look, fit and how well it is secured to the engine.

Can you post pics and a PN as I just cancelled my order for the Volant based upon what the fellow above stated re: "arduous" I do not want difficult anything so out it goes... I will consider the Mopar if you'll send the info and also where you purchased and what you paid if you don't mind telling - thx

Hmmm odd I've have many brands of intakes through the years and didn't find the install or anything about the filter set up to be "arduous". The filter sits inside of a sealed airbox which is perhaps the best part of the volant vs the competition with their open elements.
