Unhappy iPhone USB connector stopped working

Quick question for all of you long time D owners. My iPhone USB connector stopped working. I'm hoping that it is something as minor as a blown fuse, but I don't know if there is a separate fuse for that port (the one in the console). Anyone know?

I'm not100% sure but isn't the center console usb backlit? If the light is out it may just be a blown fuse.

Well, may be time to go to the dealer before I get a tune.

Good point. I'll check to see if the light is still on. Thanks!

Agreed if the light is out the fuse or circuit is dead.

Just to add, if it is a blown fuse... it's better for you to do it yourself. Fuses are considered to be "adjustments" and will likely not be covered under warranty unless you have <12k on your ride.

Well guys, thanks for the help...unfortunately, the light IS STILL working on the USB jack, so looks like I may have to go to the dealer.

Still look for a blown fuse
The light is actually is actually controlled from ambient lighting circuit the actual port is from another source.

check out one of my previous posts...it describes a failed center console remote USB and the solution. It was not a fuse...there doesn't seem to be one that controls it separately. Possibly one of three things....1) disconnected from radio head unit or 2) bad wiring harness from the head to the console or 3) messed up wiring in the center console. Mine was #3. They replaced the center console lid (under warranty) and I'm good to go.

Good luck.
