stumbled onto it by accident, but you can see pictures of it installed in a wk2 grand cherokee and a v6 durango, seller confirmed fitment with v8 durango.

Nice looking piece! But at $469 . . . . I dunno know . . . .
Anyone heard of any update from Richard Petty Motorsports on the strut brace? I'm headed back in a couple weeks to move home and the Durango to the UK. I definitely will be installing a strut brace before bringing it over as the shipping costs to send one here after it's shipped will likely be as much as the brace itself. So if there's no news of a different option I'll be ordering the excessively priced Arrington one listed on eBay this next week.

I spoke one on one with William from PG, he was in charge of the Durango platform upgrades. They will continue to do Durango products but only on a one off, in house basis... NO production parts. The market just isn't there. As far as I can find, and I'm pretty sure I've taken the suspension further than anyone else and spoken to every possible company, you're only choice is Arrington.
Yeah. I figured I would have to bite the bullet on this and buy the overpriced Arrington one. Since I'm traveling back to get the house moved and ship the Durango overseas next month I gave in and ordered one. The good news is that I'll be able to give some impressions of how the strut brace feels on the D.

Well, I've since received and installed the Arrington strut brace on the D. I'm sorry it's very dusty under my hood being in the desert currently.

The pictures aren't great and I should have taken some in progress. The passenger side mount was not cut right and had to enlarge the hole in the mount for the rear hood lift mount stud. I also choose keeping the engine cover off since I see no reason for it other than retaining heat.
As for performance, with the way I drive, what a difference. As with all the vehicles I've had them on, it's much more sure-footed on corners. I tried an intersection corner on a two lane road to see how it felt understeer wise and was able to stay in the first lane taking it at 20-25 with no feel of it wanting to understeer as usual.

nice mod!! glad theres actually a noticeable improvement in handling..
still hard to to swallow that price but at least it sounds like you get something useful in exchange...something to think about while I hold out a bit longer...

The suspension was loaded when I tried to put it on. I had to unload it as the brace would not fit with it loaded on my driveway which is a little angled.
