Im running hids in fogs. Have been for 4 months or so. Recently have been driving a lot in the morning before dawn, and had a few people flash me. Sucks because i like the color of the fogs. May try to tint my fogs slightly so that it will take the intensity down but still provide a nice color/light output

 

This is the first vehicle I have not chosen to go with HID's. Had headaches with them, even with premium bulbs and ballasts.

I have come to the conclusion that when it comes to lights I'm not fixing what's not broke. Sucks because I think they look great in a nice projector, just not worth the headaches anymore.

 

No Melting issues?

None so far. Ddm tuning 35 watt 4500k

Run them all the time with the parking lights

Do I need anything else other than the HID Kit for h16 bulbs (5000k)?
Do I need any of the adapters or harness's

Youll have to get creative with the h16 harness. I just cut the socket and spliced the wire to the ballast. Its not exactly plug n play.

Also, 5000k on ddm will be more blue than the headlights, fyi

 

So you recommend 4000k
