What says not supported? Because I'm pretty sure that I've taken and sent SMS messages with Uconnect and my S3.

Where in what menu did u turn off the SMS messages?

I have tried everything with my phone and set up
The option of messages isn't coming up for my phone at all.
The phone works perfect!

UPDATE: I finally found the compatability chart online. It appears that not all motorola phones allow this feature and also it appears that Verizon wireless has very few phones compatible to this feature.
I checked all the phones in our household and according to U connect website none are compatible. That includes an I phone 4s, a Samsung S3, an I phone 5 and a Droid Razor. Now if you have another network some of these phone may work with all features.

You have to pre-program messages that you choose from a list that she reads off. From the factory it comes with several default messages like Yes, No, On my way, where are you, etc. The reading of SMS messages is pretty slick, though. It'll even tell you if there's an emoticon and what kind it is (smile, frown, etc.)
