Angry Help! Turn off incoming call notification

Is there a way to turn off the incoming call notification? It makes me crazy every time I get a phone call and that annoying Biatch says "incoming call from **** mobile, press uconnect blah blah blah". I hate it, please tell me there is a way to get rid of it.

Now that you mention it...it is sort of annoying and it adds extra time to connect the call. I'd like to know too.

Is it in the voice menu or on screen menu? I have been able to turn off the SMS notification, but not the call notification.

Yeah it will read your text messages for you. Even comes up on the EVIC as a little mail envelope.

The voice comes on an says:

New text message from "some garbled name". Press UConnect phone button to hear it.

Because Uconnect is a hands free system where a cell phone can be used as long as the phone is within the BT zone (approx 32 ft) without having the phone in your hands, Chrysler as well as other mfg's don't know if your phone is in a gym bag, briefcase, purse or like some that use it just for emergencies and have it in the console or glove box. So in these cases, you may not hear the phone ring, not to mention that a there are a lot of phones do not ring when paired up to BT or you may have had the ringer turned off for some reason and forgot to turn it back on. So you may mess a call if you were not alerted about an incoming call.
Now I know the next comment, "well there's a onscreen pop up that tells you about the call also". Yes there is, but have you ever been driving and deep in thought about something or just paying attention to your driving (as well as other's terrible driving). We don't stare at the radio screen watching for an incoming call.
There isn't any way to turn her off. The announcement is really only 5 - 8 seconds, I personally have more things to anger me like the idiot that just cut me off or the person driving @ 50 mph on the fwy because they can't drive and talk at the same time etc.

Oh man, I'm glad I'm not the only one who is bothered by these stupid notification sounds.
