There is no way to turn it off. In post #7 I explained this, guess you must have not bothered reading it ::

Because Uconnect is a hands free system where a cell phone can be used as long as the phone is within the BT zone (approx 32 ft) without having the phone in your hands, Chrysler as well as other mfg's don't know if your phone is in a gym bag, briefcase, purse or like some that use it just for emergencies and have it in the console or glove box. So in these cases, you may not hear the phone ring, not to mention that a there are a lot of phones do not ring when paired up to BT or you may have had the ringer turned off for some reason and forgot to turn it back on. So you may mess a call if you were not alerted about an incoming call.
Now I know the next comment, "well there's a onscreen pop up that tells you about the call also". Yes there is, but have you ever been driving and deep in thought about something or just paying attention to your driving (as well as other's terrible driving). We don't stare at the radio screen watching for an incoming call.
There isn't any way to turn her off. The announcement is really only 5 - 8 seconds, I personally have more things to anger me like the idiot that just cut me off or the person driving @ 50 mph on the fwy because they can't drive and talk at the same time etc.

There is an issue with the s3. People with a lot of different cars and carriers are having trouble with it.
Well, I have a Galaxy S3 on AT&T and I read *and* sent text messages from my phone on Sunday, so it's not all S3's, at least not S3's that are on AT&T.

Interesting. I've been reading other android forums and a lot of people are having trouble getting the s3 to send and receive texts through cars. Some people have found work arounds for Toyota and BMW but I haven't seen anything for dodge.

I'm sorry that you felt that I was trying to be a "dick about it". The information was there and it was apparent that you just scanned thru the thread and missed it. So I re-posted it for you. If you had actually read the thread you wouldn't have posted with the:
