Ummmm....for almost $2000 for just the parts I think I'll save the money and wait for a someone to come up with a set of shorties. Sweet Jesus that's a lot of money for a little HP and sound.

You are right, but you get what you pay for. ARH are top quality pieces, made in the US and probably the best headers you will ever find for the D.

Not doubting the quality but I'm sure JBA will have a set of shorties out soon. I have run a set of JBA shorties on my Magnum with great results. Long tubes have their place but for now it's not worth it. Hell my heads and cam were almost less than they want for these headers! Now if you tell me I'm going to get 40-50 HP from that set up and then we will talk but more than likely it's only going to be around 20-25. With the popularity of the D3 recently there will be more sets coming out soon.

Actually it's a ****load. Now don't get me wrong the headers with high flow cats are $1650 but after the labor to install, good gaskets, lock down bolts, and the pipes to meet the headers to the existing exhaust your going to be in for at least $2000 easy!

the headers are expensive i can understand that but to me well worth it if you do more mods they will support it i noticed a huge difference. jba seems to take a very long time i watched the forums for the rams and they kept saying 60 to 90 days almost year later they finally came out again i understand because when they had my d it seemed like forever to get it back but to each his own i think they both make quality stuff but i prefer the longtubes and the cat back i am very happy with for the price its a little more then whats out there but the quality is insane and absolutely no drone whatso ever

Agreed but I have had a set of JBA's on my Magnum with tons of mods and I'm pushing 450+hp, and mind you I started out with only 340hp, out of that 5.7 with just shorties. The money saved in going with the JBA's set me up for the cam and then heads. Now that is where the power is made! Your only going to get so much with a set of long tubes, just like with shorties, until you increase your displacement. Once you get the mod bug it just depends on where and how much you want to spend. Hell I'm looking at a 2014 Ram and I am already shopping for tuners and exhaust....haha! Glad you like your set up. I'm in no hurry I have my Magnum for the days when I want to light em up and have fun. Also I have a set of long tubes sitting in the garage for the Magnum but I only got them because they were a screaming deal that fell in my lap (Kooks for only $550). Too bad the Magnum shorties won't fit on the D3!
