I've got an e-mail out to a friend who owns a dyno. If I can, I'd like to get 3 pulls with the hypertech followed by 3 pulls without it, so some real world numbers can be posted here. Back to back...same day...equal cool down time. I don't care if it ends up underperforming or overperforming. At least we'll have actual proven numbers for comparison sake.
Very cool.. keep us posted bro!!

I ended up buying a trinity. Should be here in a week or so. I decided that one just because it works on my truck as well. I am going to put it on my truck for my move coming up, then switch it over to my durango, see how the Mrs likes its(or see if I get error codes) then put it back on my truck this winter. Once they unlock it for more than one vehicle, I will put it on both

So many flawed things with what you're saying that im calling giant BS. Firstly, if you bought an "80mm" throttle body, you got ripped off as the stock one is 80mm and flows a huge amount (900cfm). Any throttle body "upgrade" is as much of a waste of money as the Hypertech itself. Unless you have a giant 426+ stroker, you'll never need anything more than 900 cfm. And I won't even get into what a waste an engine bay mounted aftermarket CAI is...

Also, there's nothing wrong with making gobs of hp with a heavy SUV. I can't wait to add a pair of turbos or an Edelbrock when my warranty is up. The older SRT8 Jeeps are a perfect example. So many trapping 140s, 150s, and a couple near 160s!

This sounds good. I wish everything got tested like this. Most of the time people test stuff at different dynos with different weather conditions and when they've combined several performance enhancements together. Hard to draw conclusions then

Haha. You guys are classic. Now.. CAI IS "SNAKE OIL"

A Dyno and a 1/4 mile are the only way we can truly see our performance increase so the info they provide is crucial. Most these guys like myself have much faster vehicles and aren't new to modifications. So your not "schooling" anybody with your "I call BS" crap. 8 out of 10 guys on here know what there doing. Can I get a 10 out of 10 that Magnum RT is a D.ck!

He is certainly coming off as a very angry person on this thread for some reason.

Lol without trying I ended up making a Ford vs Chevy debate by Ford and Chevy enthusiasts. Lol
After seeing both sides, I like the ds better. Not only can I use it on my truck, but it has a mpg booster tune which I really like. I'm sure the hypertech is great though!

I apologize if I offended anyone. The post topic was "tuning a 12'...which one to get?"

I assumed he was asking for opinions on both...so i gave my opinion. I know next time to side with the largest crowd.....LOL
