[QUOTE=woblik;3023388]I just took everything apart, found the sub. Peeled off the sub "grill," will see if that helps.

So where and how did you get to the factory sub?

How do you "peel" the cover off? I tried to put a small screw driver under it, but it seemed to be all one piece.

It will come off with some elbow grease. It wasnt easy, and almost damaged the sub.

Id leave it on there. Doesnt really help at all.

After thinking about it, the enclosure is plastic, and thin plastic at that. When i put this jl 8w3, its gonna rattle that thing. I'll try it, but more than likely gonna build a box. May remove that whole under the hatch plastic and build a box.

Shouldve gotten a 10w3 instead

Here is my setup I build. I can close lid and no one can see it. If someone wants the factory sub let me know. Its just chilling in a box.

MJ, that look great!!! what is driving those subs? did you use the high level speaker wires for the input to the new amp?
I did that with my Infinity Bass Link and it works perfect, cross over at 50Hz and the bass is never over 50% on the volume control ****.

amp is under 3rd row. I have the MyGig so I just plugged into that. Sides are mdf and bottom is fiberglass. Tried to get as much air as possible. I am going to be ripping it out soon to add my air suspension and install a worth system.
