Default steering wheel wobble update?

Last year I had extensive alignment and wheel balance issues that seemed to cause a visible wobble in the steering wheel. Although there was some relief in terms of the severity, the dealership never fully fixed the problem and used the tires as a scapegoat. Interestingly the problem seemed to disappear for the winter months. As the temperatures are starting to rise the problem seems to be showing its ugly self again and the wheel will wobble back and forth if I let go of it. There is a minor but notable vibration that can also be felt through the steering wheel. I know I'm not alone with this issue, so I thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone has found a fix for the problem.

If it is the tires, I would gladly replace them, but I refuse to do so, until I'm certain that is the cause. I've had other vibration issues in the past with other vehicles where the dealership tried to pawn the problem off on tires. I replaced the tires and the problem persisted. I ended up wasting $1300 on a problem that actually had a TSB for the rear end.

This is exactly what my steering wheel does for those wondering. I know this is a Toyota product but it is what my Durango does as well. Where I live there is a distracting driving law therefore I hesitant to take a video of the problem. One day when I'm with my wife I will try to take a video of the D to help show others the problem I'm experiencing.

I have a slight wobble in my 13 RT with Goodyears. If it gets worse I will bring it in, only does it sometimes though. Seems like when it hapeens when I start to drive but then goes away.

Funny you should say this...I did get a flat the other day on my ride to the shore and when I took off the wheel that was flat the lugs came off with no effort at all! I mean a 5yr old could undo them. I haven't had a chance yet but as you stated my intention is to remount and re-torque all wheels with a torque wrench.

So took the D on a road trip on various types of roads and now notice that the vibration starts at 55-60 and goes away at 80mph. Checked lugs and tire pressure; all good.

Sounds like a balancing issue or a bad tire. I guess I should take it to the dealer, I just hate dealing with the dealer.
