Default Ram Pick up intake on DD?

So if the Ram pick up truck is rated at 390hp and our DD's are only 360, and from what I have read the only difference is the intake manifold, is it possible to install the intake on the Durango and get some Hp's from this mod? Im sure some type of tuning is required as well, so my next thought why can we just have the ECU flashed with the tune from the truck? just thinking out loud I guess. But if the ECU flash isn't an option would we see any benefits from just changing the intake?

I hope that Edlebrock makes the E-force supercharger for our trucks! that will solve this problem quickly and provide 140 ponies!!!!

Arrington has a s/c that will fit durango but you're looking around 9-10k installed

The Ram intake is too tall and the TB mounts up differently.

Throttle Body faces up on the ram and that's the real prob. The tune is a breeze and its body will fit without the cover according to my measurements on the 2012 I traded in for the D. Bummer on the TB

If there is plenty of height clearance why not just put an elbow right off TB

I wish brother Steve, but the Throttle body sits a bit taller than the body of the intake manifold.. if you fabbed up an elbow directly to the TB mount and placed the TB down stream it still looks as though the elbow would have to be reduced in size. nothing is impossible though.

Thanks for the visual aids! I didn't know the TB was verticle on the Ram, I just thought it had bigger/taller runners with a horizontal TB just offset different. I was thinking it was a direct bolt on and then have to modify a CAI between the truck and DD. Oh well....

Case closed!
