So I had a local shop cut out the factory resonator and weld up an h pipe. Sounds great, no drone or tinny sound.

 

Awesome ! now post a video of the sound, revs, launch, drive by, ect.... this could be in inexpensive Mod with good results in aggressive sound. I'm very interested....

It does have some "glass pack" sound to it now that I've driven it to the floor. No groove and sounds great inside. I'll post some stuff tomorrow.

nice improvement, congrats!!...sounds flowmaster-ish which I believe for a hemi is a good thing

Def wanna hear startup > takeoff > cruising in-cabin with windows up

I like the magnaflows especiallly for what I paid but definitely on the quiet side...clean and aggressive sound and nice that its super quiet in normal driving situations but I would prefer a few more DB's, maybe deleting the resonators is my ticket, so def wanna hear more from your
setup...plz post when u can!

 

It was definitely restricting flow. All I could see was the resonator making an s shape. While this setup isn't as nice as the magnaflow obviously, for now $200 was all I could spare. Even the wife said it sounded nice.
