I wanted to keep it subtle so choose the flat black. Just wanted to break it up a little as these vehicles r so long. Plus keep in theme with the R/T stripes. You never know though with the red calipers and then the red R/T it would prob look sick. Has to pass the wives taste though lmao...

Well Volant just arrived also.

Modding these is fun. The Volant is throatier and louder than I expected, but the DD feels a bit peppier. See if you notice a performance increase.

I just put the red and black R/T sign on the tail after removing the "chrome" one. Debating getting rid of the "Durango" and "AWD" on the left.......weird, I was never into "de-badging" before.

 

Funny never heard of de-badging until I got my D and hit the forum. I plasti dipped mine red few weeks ago, like the look far better. Thinking about painting the tips too, only last piece of chrome sticking out on her.


I also have the Volant and after the tip last week about the Tow Haul button, ive been using that more along with manual mode and it really feels like a different truck lately, love my DD!!

 

Is that your garage packed full of crap...Clean that thing out so you can show your D the respect it deserves by being kept inside when you aren't using it.

I painted the chrome part of the grill emblem one black and left the red stripes. I de badged the AWD and the Durango. I have a few black R/T ones camping and a couple black Hemi ones. The chrome R/T is coming off and getting replaced by the black one. if its not flat black I am going to paint it flat.

 

Nice flip flops.

Ya Volant is louder under load. Super mean above 4k rpm. My 4 year old always says "Daddy your making the car MAD again" I love it
