Default Need advice on 22's

Guys,

One of the first mods I'll be doing is the 22"s. Going with the SRTs and needed some advice.

Here's a link to the wheel:

http://www.factoryreproductions.com/...-Black-c39.htm

My question comes in three folds.

Firstly, I want to go with the 22x9 +30 offset correct?

Secondly, what tire size best works with this wheel? From my research it seems that 265s are the best tire sizes to use on the 22's if I want to stay within the 20" wheels OEM diameter. Is this correct? Any particular tire brand recommendations?

Thirdly, again from my research it seems that a new set of TPMS sensors are needed, in which case I prefer to use OEM parts. Can one just go to the dealership and buy new TPMS sensors to fit into the new wheels?

Thanks!

Offset is correct

I have 285s and they sit flush with fenders. Go with a 40 series so your speedo will stay correct.

I bought ebay one and haven't had any issues. They program themselves.

How would a 22*9.5 with 30mm offset sit on the D? Want them flush with fenders but not a fan of them hanging out to much.

1. Yes 22 x 9 et 30 factory reproductions are pretty much what everyone on here runs and will sit flush with the fenders.

2. You are correct by going with 265/40's I run them in Falken Ziex St/Z04's and they're perfect. exact same overall diameter as the factory 20's and my speedo is the same according to my gps on my radar detector. As for what brand stay away from the parada's(you'll be buying another set in no time). You will find that you won't have as many options as 285's but they're out there. I will probably go with the Falken's again when I need another set.

3. Like FSTDANGO said get the OEM ones off of ebay. Much cheaper than the dealer!

22x9 will sit flush indeed!
The 265 are a better bet on the tires as said above

I have these, BRAND NEW that I purchased back in February, but there was a delay in shipping. I didt have the patience to wait, so payed extra and got them from the dealership so I could get my repo's on and enjoy them. They are yours for $40 shipped if you want them.

Thanks

The very edge of the tire will stick out a bit as well as the bulge in the tire
