"Wagoneer vs Durango vs Caravan"
More speculation on the fate of the Durango:

Really, I don't know why the Durango can't live on as currently positioned, as well as the Grand Cherokee. Make the Wagoneer the "Cadillac" version of the Durango. And this talk of a new Dodge crossover to replace the Caravan, I don't get that at all.

A Jeep "Woodie"? I get it, but not with woodgrain applique.
What I don't understand about the styling is that Jeep is positioned to be rugged, backwoodsy, outdoorsy, haul everything SUV but then they make the nose small and presumably more aerodynamic. I don't need aerodynamics in the boonies. I need torque, 4WD, heavy duty suspension, gunracks, bush guards, Baja lights, and an area to strap dead animals and camping gear. Oh, wait, that's what Jeep used to be. Now, not so much.

Holy crap! I know inspiration is a must have for an artist but smoking pot Is obviously not working... The wagoneer would never have that front end. The drag co. Would be off the charts. It's all about MPG and if the mopar boys can spend millions on design and create fuel saving dodads like MDS, radiator shutters and factory airbags to get the MPG up they are not going to let the design team flush those gains down the drain. God that's ugly. My 2

I read the article and it seems that the Durango will stick around-especially if the Wagoneer is THAT ugly. They're just speculating. I also read their review on the Durango and it really does well. All the things we love. I'll be upset if it does go away. First vehicle in a long time that I really love.
