As an update, I got the 60 led switchback tower in over the weekend. I'll upload a DYI in the next few days (modded them to be DRL instead of just running lights), but here's what they look like. They're a bit cooler than the HIDs, but it's not horrible. They're definitely not as bright as yours are but I think they'll do...

FYI... I uploaded a DIY a few days ago (actually did it twice before I figured out the problem), however, I'm assuming I haven't enough posts so my thread has to be approved by a mod... I guess they haven't been online in a while so it's still hanging in limbo... Once it's approved, you'll have to let me know what you think of it...

I now also changed to the 60LED switchback instead my first shown switchback LED. The light is way more even and also filled the whole area. They are not as bright as the ones I had but apparently will not disturb other drivers in Nighttime. I really wished they were able to dim for night time....

I'm now happy with it.... Especially with the Volant CAI installed at the same time :-) It's maybe too loud but I still like it. As long as the kids and my wife will not complain all is good :-)

Man, I really want to see this DIY. Can a mod get this thread up so we can see it?
