I agree - mine came on about 2k after an oil change once, and I attributed it to not having been reset. Guess we should feel lucky they remember to put new oil in...
I change my own oil (don't trust my local dealer) so I know it was reset by me. It was my 24k change and now I'm at 28k and it's on. Driving habit hasn't changed.
