Default tow hitch wiring

Does anyone know if the 14 Durango's are pre wired with the tow wiring harness? Dealer said that even if it doesn't have the hitch from the factory it is pre wired and just need to install the hitch and your good. Can anyone confirm or deny this claim? I want to install it and looking to see how much I'll be spending. My sticker window doesn't mention anything about it. Thanks

Have 2011 Crew Lux V6. If it is pre-wired for hitch where would the harness be located. I took a quick look and did not see it, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I checked above the spare no harness. I'm guessing they did not wire the early 2011 models then. Thanks

Mine was zip tied up by the spare tire I'd say within 10" of where it would be attached to the hitch flange. If its the same PN as a 2013 i have a the oem harness never out of the bag I'll let it go cheap, 50% of retail . I just used the plug on the end once i realized mine had the harness. You can just buy the plug from Dodge or any autoparts store as it is the same 7/4 used on ford/ chevy $

My 20111 Crew was not pre-wired, I had to buy the harness and install it.

How hard is it to install the oem wiring harness and is it basically just run and plug into pre-existing jacks or do you have to splice wires. Any advice would be appreciated.
