Default Hypertech or MagnaFlow Exhaust

Sooo, after coming back from a deployment, I decided to spend a few bucks on some goodies for the 13' Redline. Went with some 22" Viper Repro's, RK Sports Ram Air Hood, K&N CAI, MGP Caliper Covers, VG SharkFin Antenna, & Oracle Halo Plasma LEDs... Now I'm trying to decide whether to spring for the MagnaFlow Exhaust or the Hypertech... Understand there is a big difference in price $1200 vs. $400 but my thought process is that I can go big with the exhaust or get the Hypertech and a few other aesthetics such as the MOPAR SRT8 steering wheel... Thoughts???

I have both and like them both. Get a hypertech and just swap mufflers for now.

The R/T stock exhaust sounds good . I have been thinking or trying the dual Gibson SS axel back as the system is already SS so can't see buying a cat back and replacing SS that only has 4200k on it with new SS. I just wish I could find a sound clip of the Gibson.

I'm guessing you will see bigger gains and a different driving feel from the hypertech!

Neither, get an axle back and a bullydog or trinity. You can have both for less than the magnaflow exhaust. Ripping out an entire stainless system to replace with a stainless system that sounds similar to the stock set up just makes no sense to me. Be different, but in the end be happy

I know youre not too pumped on the stock rt exhaust now, but allow it to break in. I have 35k on mine and love how it sounds.

@ Slainte06 - Thanks, appreciate it... Looking forward to the mods as well... The wait is killing me. The RK Hood is not expected to be delivered until Nov 25th, Caliper covers are on back order but will now supposedly be here on the 20th & who knew finding black lug nuts would be so freaking difficult. Put the Repro's on today with stock lugs & doesn't look too bad... Should have black lugs on Weds... Will post pics of progress...

@MJNewman - Thanks for the input- especially since you have both mods... Stock exhaust sounds pretty good so may just get the hypertech for now...

Thanks for the feedback/suggestions everyone... Appreciate it...

I have the full magnaflow. It replaces resonators plus makes an x pipe too. I actually just took off the axle back part and will be doing a dual center exit exhaust like the 1st gen srt8 jeeps.
