It shouldnt be news that any OEM part is going try to break the bank. I like this idea as well though. Has any one made the conversion yet?

I put one in on Wed. It's plug and play. just need to take apart the dash.

If it's plug and play, why do you need to take apart the dash?

If I install a new Video Card in my PC, it's plug and play. I still need to take the PC apart?

Plug and Play meaning no dealer needed. No need to reprogram keys.

It plugs in behind the dash. into the wiring harness

How about some tips at how to get at it? Did you come from underneath or pull the head unit out?

Any tips/tricks/pics on how to do this? With the East Coast Mopar sale going on now, it might be a good time to buy one.

Also, does the button actually light up? Someone said it did, but I wasn't sure.
