Default First Winter - Likes and Dislikes

Remote starter in general
Remote starter enables rear defrost, heated front passenger seat and heated steering wheel
Door handle remote unlock seems to work with my heavy leather gloves

Dislikes:

Heated seats take FOREVER to warm up. Pretty sure my butt does most of the work.
Remote starter does not enable the front defrost in Auto mode (unless I'm missing something).

Question - I have the factory all seasons and I'm hoping they are good for a Canadian winter given the AWD. That said, we had a few inches last week with ice under snow and I gave a bit of gas around a corner and went pretty well sideways.

Now, I like a bit of sway in the back if for nothing other than fun but, do I need to look at snows for city hills? I have a 300C that needs the snows given the RWD Hemi and works well with some Yoks and a bag of salt in the trunk. Hate to think I need to drop another $1,200 on snows for the truck.

Thanks all.

They don't like winter gas, MPG tanks.

Both my D and Charger have heated seats and they are both set to go on with the remote start. I think they work just fine, you sure you have them on high and not low?

If you hit the ice it doesn't matter what tires you have on your going to slide. We had a few inches by me this past weekend and the D was fine.

Nothing to dislike so far... The auto heated seat is awesome!! I wish my 2008 jeep had that. We put cooper weathermaster wsc studdable winters on since the high where we live wont break above freezing until march or april. Handles great in snow and stops great with the winters on.

The michelin latitudes are a joke in the snow and dangerous. Some people will say they are fine until they are not. I dont even want to put them back on for summer but I think i will.

Dam opposite for me, I wish they had cool option for seats, not rubbing it in that I am still wearing short sleeves, just saying.

I read what you're saying, but my seats, on high, are nowhere near as quick to warm as my 300. Maybe I'll try the 2nd row and see if it's the same.

Now cooling is the opposite. You get ventilation right away in summer. Felt kind of creepy the first few times I used it.

I had a '01 Volvo S80 that had THREE switches before they turn on: a) on-off/hi-lo switch, manually operated; b) temperature switch (had to be below 40 degrees or so), auto operation; c) "barometric switch, someone had to be sitting there, also auto operation. All this was to prevent accidently leaving them on and using up the heating elements unneccessarily.

You need the Nappa leather option brother! Cooled seats are absolutely awesome!! Keeps the sweat of my back and butt on the really hot days. That also adds the heated steering wheel which I have used a couple times on cold mornings and that thing heats up quick.

I do agree with the heated seats. They do work, but they are a little slow in warming up. My '07 Ford Sport trac had heated seats and they would burn you up in a couple minutes...and they only had one setting.

the vented seats are slow to heat up because it runs off the heat of the car.

most vented seats work that way, on the other hand, when i had heated seats on my bmw, they were electrical, and they toasted my butt up real quick hah.
