Default Unconnect question / minor issue

So .. I notice that when I am playing music, either via the radio, bluetooth, pandora, usb etc etc .. it sounds fine .. but if I go into the equalizer settings .. if I adjust anything (as an example adjusting the base down 1 notch) the sounds instantly becomes richer sounding ... I have to do this each time I start the truck .. its a minor annoyance .. I am on the latest version 13.48.3. I can't for the life of me remember if it was like this prior to updating (so I could take advantage of Pandora).

is anyone else running into this? Can you check your system? (I have the surround sound option turned on as well).

Thanks!

68 views and no response, can someone in their 14 ... listen to their radio etc .. go into your equalizer settings and turn the base down 1 notch or up .. and let me know if all of a sudden your music sounds "richer"?

are you on JeepGarage.org? There is some awesome info on the new 8.4 uconnect there in the wk2 forums. We have the updates before they are released to Chrysler.....LOL. Also realize it may take a few days for the full update to take hold and everything show up

Is it highly noticeable or just slightly? Reason I ask is I went out tonight and had the sat on and then switched to USB and the song seemed a little weak on bass and I thought about your post. So when I went into settings and adjusted the treble thinking that was the bass and there was a slight change in the overall sound but it was subtle so I wasn't completely sure if it was real or in my mind.

Yes that's what I would say .. its subtle .. but even turning the treble down or bass .. it seems to come more alive if that make sense?!
