Default Power Steering Problem

Sitting still or low acceleration it feels like there is no power steering. Giving it gas and everything seems fine. Any answers to my problem

Do you have the V-6 or Hemi? I think I read that the v-6 models only had power assist which means it should act as you described.

Have the Hemi. We did have a bad snow storm lately so maybe it is a loose belt

It could be also snow that got underneath the truck. During and after a snow storm the steering feels a little different and i realized that its from driving over and through snow banks and it sticks to everything under the truck. After a little while it goes back to normal. If it continues Id go have it checked out

Power steering pump went out. 3rd trip for warranty issues kinda rethinking my choice of vehicle. 1st dodge and I've gotta admit it's been all downhill so far.
By far no Yankee in Kentucky but I'm over the little snow we get. Hope to be living in sunny Florida in next 6 months
