Durango or Traverse?

I wouldn't be too concerned. They aren't common and if you do end up with some issues, you've got 5 years and 100k miles to get them sorted out. That's the benefit of buying new.

The Durango is full time AWD.
Go drive both and price them out similarly optioned. I was debating the same thing you were back in January, but I also looked at the Explorer, Acadia and a few others. As far as how much bang for the buck, nothing else could touch the Durango.

The ride quality far exceeds the Acadia and Traverse in my opinion. The 8 speed transmission made a noticeable difference in our opinion. The technology is second to none. With out a doubt the best bang for our buck.

Agreed! Test drove them all...Acadia, Traverse, Explorer, Armada, Lexus, BMW, Tahoe, Honda, and even some mini-vans. The ride quality of the 14 Durango was on par with the luxury models. To be honest we weren't even considering a Durango until we just turned around in a Dodge dealership to make it back to the Nissan dealership and decided we might as well drive one to see. It was love at first sight and drive for my wife and I. Took a few week to weeks of back and forth but we got exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted.
