First dent - PDR?
For some strange reason unknown to the universe, new cars always attract dents. I take necessary steps to park far and in end spots which lessen the chance of having someone next to me.
Nevertheless, it could not be avoided as some uncaring A-hole parks next to me and dings my bumper and rear quarter panel. I'm very good with detailing so i took out the polisher to remove the scratches and marring. All that is left is a light ding in the quarter panel.
I've contemplated going through a DIY and fixing it myself. Has anyone had any luck with a PDR kit or should i just bring it to a specialist to repair? It's really close to the crease between the panel and bumper and i don't want to stretch out the metal due to my inexperience.

Just my opinion but I would pay someone to do it if they screw it up you can be grumpy at them every time you look at your car but if you attempt the repair and screw it up you will be angry at yourself every time you look at the messed up dent

If it's truly only a dent and no scratches, it'll be like $100 max for a pro to do it. You'll spend half that for a diy kit and how much is your time worth? Plus, the DIY kits are typically no good and you'll probably have to take it to a pro anyway.
I've had my Durango since January 1st. It's been into the body shop twice now. The first time was for a door ding similar to yours, although it was on the rear door ($497.68). The second time was because someone backed into it backing out of a parking lot. (I was parked on the street on the opposite side of parking lot. Yeah, she crossed two lanes of traffic and hit my parked vehicle). That one was closer to $1000, but her insurance paid for that and a rental.

Spoke to a PDR Specialist and he said he wont be able to fix it completely, but he can make it better for $140. He said he would go through the taillight to get access to the dent.
The price is more than i expected and i probably would have gone through the wheel well instead. Gonna make a few more calls and get more estimates.
